Patti Simko Gallery

Patti Simko is a self-taught, award winning acrylic painter who works out of her home studio in Lockport, Manitoba, Canada. Patti’s landscape and floral paintings pay homage to growing up on the family farm in Manitoba’s Interlake. Now retired from a life-long career as a Legal Assistant, Patti dedicates her time to her new-found passion for painting. Her inspiration for paintings comes from her love of nature, the rural landscape, travel and history. She has always been interested in the way colour can prompt a memory or create a mood. This is why her work mainly consists of serene landscape paintings or vibrant floral still life pieces. She aspires for each of her paintings to evoke a feeling of serenity and peace. Patti is a member of FineArtAmerica, the Gwen Fox Art Gallery in Selkirk and a certified artist with Art in Canada. Patti has been featured in the Selkirk Record (February, 2021).
